Their philosophy is driven by sustainability and the wines are produced by way of biodynamic viticultural practices in harmony with their land, the stars and the moon. Having already developed a notable bouquet of forrest berries, wild herbs and spicy oak, the nose displays the complexity that has become synonymous with Felton Road’s signature Bannockburn Pinot Noir.
The palate is bursting with generous sweet cherry and Doris plum, coupled with savoury spice and roasted game flavours. Displaying all the hallmarks of Bannockburn, the mouthfeel is noticeably balanced, with firm structure via fine grained tannins and gentle (yet sound) acidity.
The finish is abundant with flavours of dried herbs and cedar that linger seemingly forever at the back of the palate.
